Our client is a global pharmaceutical corporation with locations worldwide. They are seeking an Inventory Management & MRP Lead to join their dynamic team.

The Inventory Management and MRP Lead will ensure adequate and qualitative inventory levels to support our customers by controlling and monitoring the MRP requirements. Over time the analyst will develop a good understanding of maintenance and asset management process with the purpose of optimizing MRP output in terms of inventory levels, turns, data accuracy, PO suggestions, service levels.

Your key responsibilities

Inventory

  • Create standard practices to control inventory levels and drive company reduction initiatives.
  • Establish inventory performance criteria based on statistical data.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams such as procurement, commercial, planning to ensure alignment and efficient inventory management.
  • Assisting and establishing inventory KPI’s
  • Analyze and address inventory-related challenges by identifying root causes, reporting on trends that negatively impact inventory.
  • Analyze inventory movement on a weekly and monthly basis across multiple distribution sites.
  • Monitor inventory levels, and proactively suggesting strategic resolutions to management.
  • Evaluate the obsolescence of components and identify products for monthly inventory write-off.
  • Provide accurate inventory data and participate in year end inventory audits.
  • Actively collaborating with the Operation Managers and their teams on analyzing major discrepancies, anomalies, and cycle count procedures.
  • Conduct monthly analysis of inventory provisions, including examination of slow-moving items, reconciliation, and shrinkage provisions.
  • Identify surplus or shortage risks and propose corrective actions.

Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

  • Actively Participate as a power user in MRP implementation and maintenance.
  • Work closely with Procurement team for accurate forecast demand and accurate replenishment suggestions.
  • Tailor MRP output, being part of Sales and Operations Planning process.
  • Eliminate MRP noise, and tailor per company on a global scale.
  • Control and adjust service levels in MRP.
  • Maintain safety stock and minim levels and provide statistical support for suggested recommendations.
  • Perform regular ABC analysis to optimize stock levels.
  • Ability to identify level of demand uncertainty and proposed adjustments on Standard deviations.
  • Evaluate the accuracy of forecasted data in the MRP output.
  • Determine the optimal cost-effective scenario output by considering factors such as lead time, minimum order quantities, fixed time periods, and planning horizon.
  • Verify the accuracy of MRP setup for every SKU within product categories.

Skills, knowledge, and abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business or Finance
  • Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) is considered an asset.
  • Minimum eight (8) years experience as an Inventory Analyst or in MRP
  • Experience in Inventory Management, Materials and Manufacturing
  • Experience working with global inventory
  • Experience with an MRP implementation and maintenance (Gains an asset)
  • Demonstrated experience in relationship management.
  • Experience working with an ERP (Syspro an asset)
  • Experience with BI or other reporting tools
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Outlook, Teams, and Excel) required.
  • Excellent communication skills: fluent French and English (oral & written) required. This role will work with our global teams and requires communication in both languages.
  • Comfortable managing inventory projects with tight deadlines in an ambiguous environment
  • Skilled in data analysis and forecasting methods
  • Proven ability to apply good judgment, ethical practice, and decision making
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Detail-oriented, strong analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills

Travel - Between three (3) to four (4) weeks per year to visit suppliers and domestic and international conferences

Notre client est un groupe pharmaceutique international implanté dans le monde entier. Il est à la recherche d'un responsable de la gestion des stocks et du MRP pour rejoindre son équipe dynamique.

Le responsable de la gestion des stocks et du MRP assurera des niveaux de stocks adéquats et qualitatifs pour soutenir nos clients en contrôlant et en surveillant les exigences du MRP. Au fil du temps, l'analyste développera une bonne compréhension des processus de maintenance et de gestion des actifs dans le but d'optimiser la production MRP en termes de niveaux de stocks, de rotation, de précision des données, de suggestions de commandes, de niveaux de service.

Vos principales responsabilités

Inventaire

  • Créer des pratiques standard pour contrôler les niveaux de stock et conduire les initiatives de réduction de l'entreprise.
  • Établir des critères de performance des stocks sur la base de données statistiques.
  • Collaborer avec les équipes transversales telles que l'approvisionnement, le commerce, la planification afin d'assurer l'alignement et la gestion efficace des stocks.
  • Contribuer à l'établissement d'indicateurs clés de performance en matière d'inventaire.
  • Analyser et résoudre les problèmes liés aux stocks en identifiant les causes profondes et en rendant compte des tendances qui ont un impact négatif sur les stocks.
  • Analyser les mouvements de stocks sur une base hebdomadaire et mensuelle sur plusieurs sites de distribution.
  • Contrôler les niveaux de stock et suggérer de manière proactive des solutions stratégiques à la direction.
  • Évaluer l'obsolescence des composants et identifier les produits devant faire l'objet d'une radiation mensuelle des stocks.
  • Fournir des données d'inventaire précises et participer aux audits d'inventaire de fin d'année.
  • Collaborer activement avec les directeurs d'exploitation et leurs équipes à l'analyse des écarts majeurs, des anomalies et des procédures de comptage des cycles.
  • Effectuer une analyse mensuelle des provisions pour stocks, y compris l'examen des articles à rotation lente, le rapprochement et les provisions pour freinte.
  • Identifier les risques d'excédent ou de pénurie et proposer des mesures correctives.

Planification des besoins en matériel (MRP)

  • Participer activement, en tant qu'utilisateur expérimenté, à la mise en œuvre et à la maintenance de la planification des besoins en matériel.
  • Travailler en étroite collaboration avec l'équipe chargée des achats afin d'obtenir des prévisions de demande précises et des suggestions de réapprovisionnement exactes.
  • Adapter les résultats du MRP, dans le cadre du processus de planification des ventes et des opérations.
  • Éliminer le bruit du MRP et l'adapter à chaque entreprise à l'échelle mondiale.
  • Contrôler et ajuster les niveaux de service dans le MRP.
  • Maintenir le stock de sécurité et les niveaux minimaux et fournir un support statistique pour les recommandations suggérées.
  • Effectuer des analyses ABC régulières pour optimiser les niveaux de stock.
  • Capacité à identifier le niveau d'incertitude de la demande et à proposer des ajustements sur les écarts types.
  • Évaluer l'exactitude des données prévisionnelles dans les résultats du MRP.
  • Déterminer le scénario optimal de rentabilité en tenant compte de facteurs tels que le délai d'exécution, les quantités minimales de commande, les périodes fixes et l'horizon de planification.
  • Vérifier l'exactitude de la configuration MRP pour chaque UGS au sein des catégories de produits.

Compétences, connaissances et aptitudes

  • Licence en gestion de la chaîne d'approvisionnement, en commerce ou en finance
  • Une certification en gestion de la production et des stocks (CPIM) est considérée comme un atout.
  • Au moins huit (8) ans d'expérience en tant qu'analyste des stocks ou en MRP.
  • Expérience de la gestion des stocks, des matériaux et de la fabrication
  • Expérience de travail avec des stocks mondiaux
  • Expérience de la mise en œuvre et de la maintenance d'un système MRP (Gains un atout)
  • Expérience démontrée dans la gestion des relations.
  • Expérience de travail avec un ERP (Syspro un atout)
  • Expérience avec des outils de BI ou d'autres outils de reporting
  • Connaissance de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams et Excel) requise.
  • Excellentes compétences en communication : maîtrise du français et de l'anglais (oral et écrit) requise. Ce poste est amené à travailler avec nos équipes internationales et nécessite une communication dans les deux langues.
  • Vous êtes à l'aise dans la gestion de projets d'inventaire avec des délais serrés dans un environnement ambigu.
  • Maîtrise de l'analyse des données et des méthodes de prévision
  • Capacité avérée à faire preuve de discernement, à respecter les règles d'éthique et à prendre des décisions.
  • Excellentes compétences en matière de gestion du temps et d'organisation
  • Souci du détail, forte capacité d'analyse, de planification, de hiérarchisation et d'exécution.
  • Voyages - Entre trois (3) et quatre (4) semaines par an pour visiter des fournisseurs et assister à des conférences nationales et internationales.
