Relevant areas of study include, but are not limited to finance, accounting or financial management, business, computer science, operations, or logistics.Years of experience: 3+ yearsReason for request/why opened: Net new role.% Interaction with Stakeholders: Vast majority of the timeTeam Size: Small-scale teamProject: Multiple project assignmentSUMMARY OF DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES:Reporting to the Professional Operations Management (POM) team, the Reporting Analyst will own several reporting development activities for FinOps. The position requires MS Power Platform development experience, flexibility, an entrepreneurial spirit, investigative skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to work independently with limited supervision. The successful candidate must demonstrate strong time management and organization skills, as well as comfort with managing complex business demands in a fast-paced environment. The ability to communicate clear & timely messaging to peers, management and executives will be essential.Specific responsibilities may include:• Develop Power BI reporting and Power Automate Flows to support FinOps' maturity journey• Create and maintain the process for the collection and processing of data for reports created• Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to resolve inquiries and provide timely guidance• Support the manager by delivering on business-as-usual activities, following escalation paths, and articulating well-reasoned recommendations• Lead the creation of quality report construction; collaborate with partners, develop & document processes and keep stakeholders current on changes• Support the inquiries of our FinOps colleagues – they are our customers• Ensure data accuracy while managing exceptions and working with partners to resolve issues• Investigate trends to identify / initiate projects which will reduce risk and/or create efficiencies; lead some of those projects to resolution while observing Finance's internal and external controls• Foster effective relationships with peers, technology partners and subject matter experts• Implement process & performance improvements where appropriate; support knowledge transfer throughout FinOpsMUST HAVE:3+ years of experience building Power BI reports and Power Automate flows to support reports.5+ years working with data sources that can be ingested into Power BI, including SharePoint, Dataverse, SQL, etc.Developed analytical skills; assessed risk & waste, challenge the status quo.Sound judgment & decision-making abilitiesStrong knowledge of MS Office apps, especially Excel & Power QueryA communicator who engages colleagues, partners, and stakeholders .
