Responsibilities
⢠Reporting to the Professional Operations Management (POM) team, the Reporting Analyst will
own several reporting development activities for FinOps.
⢠Develop Power BI reporting and Power Automate Flows to support FinOps maturity journey
⢠Create and maintain the process for the collection and processing of data for reports created
⢠Gather and analyze data from multiple sources to resolve inquiries and provide timely guidance
⢠Support the manager by delivering on business-as-usual activities, following escalation paths,
and articulating well-reasoned recommendations
⢠Lead the creation of quality report construction; collaborate with partners, develop & document
processes and keep stakeholders current on changes
⢠Support the inquiries of our FinOps colleagues â they are our customers
⢠Ensure data accuracy while managing exceptions and working with partners to resolve issues
⢠Investigate trends to identify / initiate projects which will reduce risk and/or create efficiencies;
lead some of those projects to resolution while observing Finances internal and external
controls
⢠Foster effective relationships with peers, technology partners and subject matter experts
⢠Implement process & performance improvements where appropriate; support knowledge
transfer throughout FinOps
Qualifications
Analytical skills and the ability to review and organize large amounts of data *3 years
⢠3+ years of experience building Power BI reports and Power Automate flows to support reports.
⢠5+ year working with data sources which can be ingested into Power BI, includes SharePoint,
Dataverse, SQL, etc.
⢠Developed analytical skills; assess risk & waste, challenge the status quo.
⢠Sound judgement & decision-making abilities
⢠Strong knowledge of MS Office apps, especially Excel & Power Query - *3 years
⢠A communicator who engages colleagues, partners, and stakeholders
⢠The constitution to operate calmly under pressure.
⢠The empathy to work effectively with teams & partners with varied priorities.
