As a board member, you will play a vital role in providing strategic direction, governance, and oversight to support GEIWI’s mission of empowering Black and visible minority women in Saskatchewan. You will work closely with the Executive Director and other board members to ensure the organization’s success in delivering impactful programs and initiatives.The Board is looking to fill the following FOUR roles:Fundraising and Resource Mobilization:Develop and execute fundraising strategies and campaigns.Build and maintain relationships with donors, sponsors, and partners.Collaborate with the Executive Director to secure financial support through grants, donations, and sponsorships.Strategic Partnerships and Stakeholder Engagement:Cultivate and manage relationships with key stakeholders and partners.Identify opportunities for collaboration and resource sharing.Advocate for GEIWI’s mission in partnership interactions.Program Development and Evaluation:Design and evaluate programs to ensure alignment with GEIWI’s mission and goals.Work with the Director of Program Development to plan logistics for programs.Monitor and assess the effectiveness of programs, recommending improvements as needed.Marketing and Communications:Oversee the organization’s marketing, branding, and communication strategies.Manage GEIWI’s online presence and social media engagement.Develop content and campaigns to promote the organization’s mission and programs.Qualifications:Passion for empowering Black and visible minority women and girls.Experience in nonprofit leadership, governance, or management.Strong strategic thinking, planning, and leadership abilities.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Commitment to the mission and values of GEIWI.Apply Today and Make a Difference: Join us in a volunteer role that not only advances your leadership journey but also leaves a powerful legacy in the lives of those who need it most.
