Job Posting – Membership Manager – Full-Time
First Nations Power Authority (FNPA) is North America’s only Indigenous-led, owned and governed not-for-profit helping to de-risk power projects with power utilities and energy companies. FNPA’s membership base consists of 165+ Indigenous communities and Industry partners from around Mother Earth. FNPA bridges the gaps between industry, government and Indigenous communities by providing expertise in the Canadian electricity sector, with a focus on building capacity, knowledge transfer, wealth creation, equity ownership in renewable energy, carbon neutral and nuclear development. FNPA assists with access to capital programming, procurement design and delivery of Indigenous-led projects.
The primary purpose of this role is to attract, retain and engage members by developing and implementing strategies, maintaining databases, coordinating meaningful engagements with the FNPA team and ensuring a positive member experience. Maintain effective communication with team members, members and partners both verbally and in writing
Actively seek new members through targeted outreach, marketing campaigns and networking opportunities
Assist in organizing and seeking out member engagements, meetings and networking opportunities
Alongside the Finance Manager, oversee membership dues collection, invoicing and develop and maintain an annual renewal strategy
Qualifications & Work Experience:
~ A bachelors degree in business, marketing, communications, nonprofit management or a related degree is preferred.
~Planning, recruiting, customer service, etc.)
~ Solid understanding of Indigenous culture and values
~ Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and execution skills
~ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant software applications
~ Must maintain strict confidentiality when handling sensitive information, documents and data.
~ Experience building and maintaining professional networks

Location: FNPA Head Office, Regina, Saskatchewan
Hours: Full-time (40 hours / week); Monday to Friday
