Lead Business Analyst (Retail Investments - Mutual Funds)Apex Systems is an IT Services firm and we are looking for a Lead Business Analyst with strong communication and requirement gathering skills, knowledge of Mutual Funds (distributed product), non-registered and registered accounts, good leadership skills to place at our client, a Big Five BankClient: Big Five BankContract: 1 Year rolling contract.Location: Toronto, Downtown CoreMust Have Skill Set: Lead Business Analyst with Mutual Funds) Experience Understands registered & non registered (TFSA vs RRSP, etc)Strong Communication &Lead / Leadership on a large enterprise level program Nice to Have Skill Set: Broadridge - NTHJob DescriptionThe responsibilities of this Lead Business Analyst role includes: liaising with business users to analyze requirements and translate business needs into functional specification for development and testing; work with business to identify backlog items for Mutual Fund Distribution, Non-Registered, and Registered Account functionalities in the Retail Investments domain. Assisting development with analysis and resolution of production issues and user queries along with project tracking and SDLC management. There will be leadership as well over other BAs on smaller projects.Key Qualifications: • Ability to speak with Retail Investment business stakeholders and also collaborate and discuss requirements with technology stakeholders • 5+ years of Wealth Management/Retail Investment experience; Understanding of Mutual Funds as distributed products, non-registered accounts, and registered accounts • 8+ years of Business Analyst experience working at enterprise financial corporations • Knowledge on writing BRDs for project enhancements • Experience with building backlog and documenting enhancements for Salesforce Reporting • Experience with JIRA • Experience with Agile Development. Soft Skills:• Strong communication and organizational skills • Ability to work independently and also as a Team Lead with other BAs • Ability to work through backlogs and create solutions pro-actively
