Responsible for preparing, portioning and serving meals to clients in accordance with government sanitation regulations and organization policies and standards.
Diploma/Certificate in Chef Training, Culinary Management or equivalent experience in institutional, healthcare, restaurant or hospitality environment
Current Food Handler Safety Certificate
Practical and theoretical knowledge of quantity food production, and knowledge of sanitation and safety standards for food services area
Knowledge of Asian cuisine and cooking style (e.g., use of wok) an asset
Ability to work shifts (days, evenings and weekends)
Ability to converse in Chinese an asset.
Exposure to heat, humidity, moisture and food waste
