Job Description
As a Project Coordinator you will play a pivotal role in supporting project management activities, ensuring smooth coordination, and facilitating the successful execution of construction projects.
Your Key Responsibilities:
Building and maintaining the project schedule using MS project
Providingthe necessary information and updates
Assisting the Senior PM and supporting Project Managers
Coordinatingprocurement of materials and equipment required for project execution
Support resource allocation, tracking, and management to optimize project efficiency
Maintaining accurate project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, and permits
Preparingregular progress reports, summarizing project status, milestones achieved, and potential risks
Managingchange orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and other project-related documents
Reviewing invoices/timesheets for project manager’s approval
Performing other duties as assigned by the senior project managers
Qualifications
What You'll Need:
Construction Management, Civil Engineering or Architectural degree an asset
Previous experience working in a commercial or industrial setting as a project coordinator
Capability to read and draw sketches and preliminary drawings in AutoCAD
Proficiency in MS Project
Valid drivers license and capability to travelto sites for visits and inspections
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent is an asset
Familiarity with CAD software and construction industry-specific tools
Experience in cost estimation, budgeting, and financial analysis for construction projects
Strong understanding of construction processes, project management principles, and relevant regulation
