An opening exists in the Trade Division for the position of Sales Coordinator reporting to the Senior National Account Manager. This is a temporary 15-month contract position.
Work Location: This position works out of our downtown Toronto office, located at 2 Bloor St. West, on a hybrid basis (two days in office per week). Remote applicants within Canada will also be considered for this position.
French Sales
Supporting sales representatives by helping to prepare for sales meetings, taking meeting minutes, preparing PowerPoint presentations for customer presentations, organizing sales materials, creating Excel spreadsheets (seasonal, thematic and annual sell sheets) and updating the customer grid at the release of each catalogue
Managing the new release grid, helping with tracking customer orders and communicating any special customer needs to all relevant internal stakeholders (Customer Service, Warehouse, IT Department, Supply Chain).
Sending sales reports including sharing weekly sales charts from suppliers, including Gaspard, Les Libraires and Renaud-Bray reports, and producing any other reports at the request of sales representatives, divisional directors and the vice president.
Helping to create thematic lists, reserve grid maintenance, on-going order monitoring and verification
Creating work orders, annual forecasting of the display needs for the French division, facilitating due date extension requests and participating in display meetings.
Communicating with the Trade team about any news that should appear in the weekly publicity mailing.
Other duties as assigned (some evening and weekend work may be required)
Coordinating all aspects of all Salons du livre across Quebec and Eastern Canada by filling out contracts, creating and placing orders on time for all locations, developing and maintaining a good relationship with the Salons' personnel and other stakeholders as well as analyzing sales and returns data
Coordinating and assisting with the organization trade shows/conferences and other special events, tracking and profits and loss grids to facilitate existing account and new account follow-ups.
Attending trade/sales shows as needed
Full professional fluency in both French and English
~1-2 years of relevant experience in sales/ marketing
~ Post-secondary education would be an asset
~ Interest in children's books, authors and media
~ Experience with applying the principles of equity, diversity and inclusion in the context of social media and digital marketing
~ Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams etc.)

Un poste de coordonnateur·rice des ventes, se rapportant à la directrice des comptes nationaux, est à pourvoir au sein de la division française de Trade. Il s'agit d'un poste temporaire d'une durée de 15 mois.
Lieu de travail : Ce poste est basé dans notre bureau du centre-ville de Toronto, situé au 2, rue Bloor Ouest. Notre équipe travaille en mode hybride (2 jours par semaine au bureau). Ventes pour la division française :
Soutenir les représentant·es des ventes en préparant les réunions avec l'équipe des ventes, en rédigeant le procès-verbal de ces réunions, en préparant des fichiers PowerPoint pour les présentations aux client·es, en organisant le matériel de vente, en créant des feuilles de calcul Excel (bons de commande saisonniers, thématiques et annuels), et en mettant à jour la grille de client·es à la sortie de chaque catalogue.
Assurer la gestion de la grille d'office, le suivi des commandes et la communication des besoins spéciaux des client·es à tous·tes les intervenant·es concerné·es (service à la clientèle, entrepôt, département d'informatique, chaîne d'approvisionnement).
Envoyer les rapports des ventes, y compris le partage des palmarès hebdomadaires de ventes des fournisseurs, notamment les rapports Gaspard, Les Libraires et Renaud-Bray, et produire tout autre rapport à la demande des représentant·es, des directeur·rices et de la vice-présidente aux ventes.
Créer des bons de travail, établir les prévisions annuelles des quantités nécessaires de présentoirs pour la division française, assurer le suivi des demandes d'extension des dates d'échéance, et participer aux réunions.
Autres fonctions selon les besoins (il peut être nécessaire de travailler le soir et le week-end, à l'occasion).
Coordonner tous les aspects liés aux Salons du livre du Québec et de l'Est du Canada : remplir les contrats, créer et passer des commandes à temps pour tous les emplacements, développer et maintenir une bonne relation avec le personnel des Salons du livre et les autres parties prenantes, analyser les ventes et les retours.
Bilinguisme anglais-français
~1 à 2 ans d'expérience pertinente en ventes/marketing
~ Un diplôme d'études postsecondaires est un atout
~ Expérience dans l'application des principes et pratiques de la diversité, de l'équité et de l'inclusion dans le contexte du marketing numérique et des médias sociaux
~ Connaissance de la suite Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.)
~ Être en mesure de présenter et de maintenir à jour une vérification de l'habilitation à travailler auprès de personnes vulnérables
