Outside Sales Representative

With a strong commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service, we have established ourselves as a trusted partner for Landscapers, Contractors, Architects, and Landscape Designers. As we venture into new markets with new innovative products to offer our existing and new customers, we are currently seeking a motivated and dynamic Outside Sales Representative to join our team.
Role Description
As an Outside Sales Representative, you will play a crucial role in growing our customer base and driving sales in the landscape construction industry. Your primary responsibilities will include building and maintaining relationships with Landscapers, Contractors, Garden Supply Centers, Architects, and Landscape Designers. We are looking for a self-motivated individual who can make independent decisions and take the initiative to prospect and acquire new sales opportunities and customers, working independently without requiring constant supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers in the construction industry.
- Identify and engage with potential customers, including Landscapers, Contractors, Garden Supply Centers, Architects, and Landscape Designers.
- Conduct product presentations and demonstrations to showcase the value and benefits of our products and solutions.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to create and implement effective sales strategies.
- Actively pursue new leads and opportunities through cold calling, networking, and industry events.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitors.
- Be responsible for knowing your competition at all times and staying ahead of them.
- Educate current and new contractors/dealer base on our products and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in the construction industry is essential
- Strong sales presentation and relationship building skills
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Proven track record in outside sales and customer relationship management
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Strong decision making skills and the ability to take initiative
- Experience in the landscaping or home improvement industry is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field
