Work Mode: On-site at Peel Manor – 525 Main St N, Brampton 
The Long-Term Care and Senior Services Divisions require staff to provide person-centered care to our residents and families following the Butterfly Model of Care. This will ensure high levels of emotional wellbeing and a better quality of life for those living in our homes. Staff are to have emotional intelligence ability to deliver person-centered care in an authentic way that is meaningful to the resident and their family.
While you won't be providing direct resident care, you will play an integral role in providing daily administrative support to the Supervisor, Resident Support Services in carrying out their day-to-day business, projects, and planning activities 
Reporting to the Supervisor, Resident Support Services you will provide courteous and helpful assistance to all internal residents, staff members, volunteers, external visitors and contractors.
Administrative support which includes but is not limited to filing, faxing, photocopying, and typing
Monitor the lobby to ensure resident safety and respond to emergency situations in accordance with the Centre’s policies and procedures
Responsible for petty cash including reconciliation and replenishment 
Special projects as assigned (may require additional work hours)
Supports scheduling/payroll function by doing call ins for staff replacements and related data entry/changes 
Acts as a back-up for the Financial Control Clerk as assigned
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and general accounting software applications such as Point Click Care 
Experience in PeopleSoft, or Absence Management, Scheduling and Time Administration experience
