At Pacific Art Stone, we are passionate about stone and the potential that stone has for beautifying residential and commercial spaces, and we are looking for a friendly and dynamic person to join our growing sales team We've grown steadily from a small one-stop shop to one of Metro Vancouver's premiere stone suppliers, and we are interested in bringing on people who would share our same vision and goals for the company's growth.

Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Being thoroughly knowledgeable on our products and how they can benefit our clients and potential clients.
  • Identifying potential clients, leads, and conversions.
  • Negotiate prices and terms with our clients and preparing sales agreements
  • Ensuring positive relationships are built with our clients and potential clients over a long-term time period.
  • Represent Pacific Art Stone at trade shows and other related events.
  • Project site visits.
  • Creating and executing product presentations for clients, being able to present, answer questions, and address concerns for clients on the spot.

Some of the skills we'd love to see you have are:

  • Customer service and active listening skills in order to listen to client concerns and needs.
  • Interpersonal skills to work with a wide variety of people each day, build relationships and network.
  • Confidence and strong self-assuredness to succeed in cold-calling clients and making sales.
  • Communication skills, especially persuasion, to clearly convey the benefits of a product to potential customers
  • Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and general computer-literacy skills.
  • Class 5 license.
  • Be comfortable visiting and working from a range of locations around Metro Vancouver or the Fraser Valley, from construction job sites to boardrooms and offices.
  • A second language (Mandarin, Cantonese, Punjabi, Hindi, Farsi) would be a great asset
