We are looking for a compassionate and caring *Licensed Practical Nurse *to join our amazing care team in one of our beautiful long term care facilities in *Willingdon Care Centre.*

*Facility Addresses:*
* Willingdon Care Centre 4435 Grange St, Burnaby, BC V5H 1P4

*Position Details: *Casual, Create your own scheudle

*Compensation: $32.84 per hour*

*Position Summary:*
* Performs assessments, plans, implements and provides personal and nursing care to residents.
* Administers oral and subcutaneous medications in accordance with pharmaceutical and organizational policies and procedures.
* Direct supervision of care staff to meet resident's needs.
* Provides personal care to patients including assisting the patient with bathing, dressing, care of skin and hair; changing beds; assisting with toilet needs; and overseeing patient exercise routines
* Performs other duties as assigned.

*Qualifications:*
* Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nursing Program
* Current registration with the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of BC
* Current CPR and First Aid certification
* Excellent written and oral communication
* Knowledge and background in Dementia care strong asset
* Desire to continually stay educated in relevant areas of long-term care and nursing a big asset.

Job Type: Casual

Pay: From $32.84 per hour

Schedule:
* 8 hour shift
* Day shift
* Evening shift
* Monday to Friday
* Morning shift
* Night shift
* On call
* Weekends as needed
