Would you like to ply your trade in an innovative production facility? This role will be based out of our manufacturing facility located in London, ON. We are seeking a Millwright to focus on installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing stationary industrial machinery, mechanical systems and mechanical equipment. The Millwright reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and will work a straight day shift schedule (Mon-Fri, 7:00am – 3:30pm).
Conduct preventative maintenance on all plant equipment as per schedule, completing all relative paperwork.
# Address all mechanical issues that may arise on the production floor.
# Assembly of machinery & equipment prior to installation using hand & power tools and welding equipment.
# Competently & safely use all tools for the efficient overhaul, maintenance or set up of company assets.
# 3+ years of demonstrated ability as a Millwright or Industrial Mechanic
~ Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
~ Experience in plastics, injection molding or extrusion would be a definite asset.
~ Strong digital literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite of products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
~ Experience working in a unionized environment is not a requirement but may be an asset.

Incumbent spends almost 100% of their time in the plant environment requiring varying degrees of considerable physical labour. Limited control of work pace and unexpected workflow brings considerable stresses to this position.
