This position is classified as Hybrid under our Hybrid Work Program Policy, where this position is required to be onsite 3 days per week Role SummaryAs the Learning & Development Manager, you will partner with the VP of People & Culture and the Chief Administrative Officer to define learning and development strategy. In this role, you will manage the design, execution, facilitation, evaluation and continuous improvement of Team-member and Leadership development programs. You will report directly to the VP of People & Culture.ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute the strategy for Learning and Development programsDesign and deliver end-to-end training programs, workshops, tools, and curricula that deliver a high-quality learner experienceFacilitate dynamic classroom and virtual training, utilizing adult learning principles and various teaching methods (e.g., presentations, workshops, small group exercises, role plays, etc.) to effectively ensure transfer of learningEstablish role-specific internal learning and development roadmaps for Team-members and LeadersCreate a comprehensive Leadership Development journeyPartner with key stakeholders to identify knowledge and skills gaps and create innovative learning solutions for all Team-members that align with business needsEvaluate outside training partnership opportunitiesCreate leadership development programs to support people development priorities such as performance management, career development, conflict resolution, employee engagement and change managementEvaluate the current Team-member onboarding program and implement structure and process to ensure that learning outcomes are achievedProject manage programs end-to-end, including project plan creation, execution, and tracking of desired outcomes and resultsTrack participant enrollment, progress, marks, and other informationManage program logistics and coordination in a hybrid format for virtual and live deliveryEvaluate alternative delivery methodsDeliver workshops, seminars, lunch & learns, and other trainingsMeasure program effectiveness and adapt to improve satisfaction, knowledge transfer, behavior change, and business resultsTranslate strategic business needs into learning and development programs that are values-based, people-centric and aligned with our business goalsPartner to manage content creation, event-planning and preparation for the annual 3-day Learning Event (Annual Business Conference) that takes place every JulyPartner with leaders to establish the theme and learning outcomes based on current business needsPartner to create experiential learning experiences for 300+ attendeesQualifications:Recognized education/formal training in Education, Adult Learning, Instructional Design or a related discipline (Degree or Certificate)Experience with classroom facilitation and online training content/instructional design3+ years managing the Learning & Development function of a mid-sized organization3+ years of training development & delivery success2+ years of leadership experience including managing, coaching and mentorshipProven experience in managing training projects from end-to-endExperience in assessing organizational needs and developing a variety of learning solutions to drive development and growth within an organizationTechnical knowledge of e-learning authoring software and LMS implementation (an asset)Exceptional verbal and written communication skillsEnthusiastic, energetic, and experienced facilitatorProven abilities as a leader, team builder, motivator, coach and mentorStrong project management, logistical planning and organizational skillsExceptional PowerPoint and presentation design skillsAdvanced proficiency in MS Office including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and OutlookTotal RewardsCompetitive salary, quarterly and annual bonuses based on individual and company goals100% employer-paid premiums for extended health, health spending account, wellness program, green transportation incentive, various paid time-off options available from your first day, and product discountsFocus on professional development, 1:1 meetings with your leader, tuition assistance program and length of service rewards The Application Please submit a resume with a cover letter.Applications are currently being reviewed.
