This individual understands email marketing best practices and how to apply them to executing our email campaigns and programs. KEY PERFORMANCE METRICSManage the day-to-day and maintain a robust email marketing calendar—ensure it is up-to-date and changes are communicated to key stakeholders (creative team, production team, merchants).Primary scorecard metrics: Thorough campaign tracking and analysis - email open, click, conversion rates and revenue delivered to the business.Ensure creative is on brand, uses the Indigo voice and coincides with online stories & in-store stories.Proactively manage the approval process, ensuring milestones and interim deadlines are met to deploy emails on time and error-free. KEY ACCOUNTABILITIESFunctionalMaintain a very fluid email marketing calendar to meet the needs of the businessExecute email campaigns from concept brief to deployment by:Develop creative briefs for email campaigns in the marketing calendarManage campaign content, stakeholder reviews and edits, ensuring milestones and interim deadlines are met to deploy emails on timePerform quality assurance on all coded emails with the production team to ensure products, content, and links are correct to ensure an error-free deploymentOversee email performance and reporting by:Track, compile and analyze email campaign results to ensure campaigns are meeting objectivesMake recommendations to enhance effectiveness & improve KPIsMake email campaign testing recommendations, then execute and report on resultsProvide online promotional support by:Compile and submit promotion request forms and assist in the quality assurance of email-specific promotionsSupport the development and rollout of new email programsStay up-to-date with trends and best practices in email marketing and share this information with the marketing team.Continually look for ways to optimize and make the briefing process more efficient.Responsible for the development, creation and execution of online in-packs, including being the main point of contact in all offline communications with the DCAct as an advocate for the customer by placing them at the forefront of all decision-making and design processes.Challenge the status quo by consistently identifying areas for improvement, diagnosing issues and working to resolve them.PeopleCollaborate with others to drive flexible and iterative solutions quickly and easily.Share technical knowledge with others and seek to learn from those more knowledgeable than yourself.Help others see the impacts of their efforts and proactively engage other functions to get input.Encourage others to freely share their point of view and be open to feedback.CulturalModel Indigo’s beliefs and convey a positive image in everything you doCelebrate the diversity of thought and have an open mindsetTake an active role in fostering a culture of continual learning, taking risks without the fear of making mistakesEmbrace, champion, and influence change through your team and/or the organizationSCOPEReports to: Senior Manager, Email MarketingKEY RELATIONSHIPSInternal:Email marketing teamIndigo creative studioOnline merchandising teamLoyalty teamCategory managers in various departmentsData Science teamEvents team QualificationsWork Experience / Education / CertificationsBachelor’s degree or college diploma in preferably marketing, communications or businessMinimum of 3+ years of experience in marketing2+ years’ experience in email marketing campaign managementExperience in a B2C fast-paced retail / e-commerce environmentExperience with project management systems like Trello and proficiency in Microsoft SuiteCompetencies / Skills / AttributesStrong command and understanding of email marketing KPIs, metrics and technologyVery detail-oriented with strong analytical, planning and time-management/organizational skills.Ability to work in a very fast-paced environment.Ability to manage multiple highly detailed tasks accurately while reacting with urgency and reprioritizing as needed to ensure all objectives and project deadlines are metStrong communication skills – dealing with stakeholders dailyAdditional informationAt Indigo, we are committed to our communities, customers, and each other; together, we can make a positive impact.
