Calm Air International is a regional airline serving the Northern part of Central Canada. At Calm Air International LP, we value our customers, passengers, and the communities we serve. This position will have the opportunity to share their skills at all our bases throughout Manitoba and Nunavut and gain experience at a wide range of facilities.
At Calm Air, flight attendants are entrusted with the safety and security of our guests, crew members and aircraft.
Maintain communication with the captain of any circumstance which may adversely affect the conduct of the flight, including any circumstance which may adversely affect the aircraft, passengers or fellow crew members
Perform, to the best of their ability, their duties in accordance with established policy and procedure and in the best interests of safety, efficiency and economy of operation
Legal age required to serve alcohol in Manitoba and Nunavut
Must have the ability to travel and possess a valid Canadian Passport
Previous experience in aviation considered an asset
Completion of the Flight Attendant Academy or the In-flight Instruction online Training Program-CT201 prior to employment
Inuktitut language considered an asset
Preference will be given to Inuit Land Claims Beneficiaries
All candidates must possess a certificate of completion prior to entering training. Inflight Institute students will be considered prior to any other applicants. We invest time and resources into making sure Calm Air International is as good as the people we hire. Registered Pension Plan starting at 5% matched after one year of employment
