Job Description:

As the Executive Chef at Tipsy Moose Pub, you will have a pivotal role in shaping our culinary direction and ensuring the highest culinary standards. Your responsibilities will encompass:

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading, inspiring, and mentoring the culinary team, fostering a culture of creativity, excellence, and collaboration.

- Developing and curating diverse and exciting menus that align with culinary trends, customer preferences, and the pub's identity.

- Overseeing the entire kitchen operation, including menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.

- Procuring and managing high-quality ingredients, ensuring cost control, and maintaining vendor relationships.

- Upholding rigorous standards for food safety, cleanliness, and sanitation.

- Training and advancing kitchen staff, facilitating their growth and culinary development.

- Implementing food cost and inventory control measures.

- Collaborating with the management team to achieve business objectives and enhance the dining experience.

- Ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, culinary standards, and labor laws.

Executive Chef Requirements:

- Proven experience as an Executive Chef or in a similar high-level culinary leadership role.

- A deep passion for the culinary arts, a comprehensive understanding of various cuisines, and a commitment to delivering exceptional food.

- Exceptional creativity, culinary innovation, and an acute sense of plate presentation.

- Strong leadership and team management abilities, promoting a positive and collaborative kitchen environment.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficiency in food cost control, menu engineering, and kitchen operations.

Education:

- A degree in Culinary Arts or a related field is preferred.

Job Type:

- Full-time (Permanent)

* After a 3-month probationary period, this position will qualify for extended health care benefits.

Experience:

- Prior experience as an Executive Chef or in senior culinary leadership is required.
