Truck and trailer Mechanic

One of our manufacturing clients in Aurora, ON region is looking for a 310T Mechanic for their facility.
Shift: Days Responsibilities- Provide troubleshooting and diagnostic repairs.
- Execute maintenance and repair tasks for heavy trucks and trailers.
- Implement preventative and predictive maintenance procedures.
- Identify the cause of malfunctions and perform repairs according to manufacturer's specifications.
- Interpret work orders and technical manuals.
- Install new and additional equipment.
- Conduct first, second, and third-line repairs and modifications on vehicles.
- Execute scheduled and unscheduled maintenance and repairs to ensure equipment availability, reliability, and safety.
- Monitor parts usage and report any materials issues.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electronic failures through visual inspection, listening to input, test driving, and using diagnostic tools.
- Inform appropriate personnel of additional repairs needed.
- Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts, and supplies.
- Test repaired equipment for proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications and government standards.
- Maintain detailed and accurate maintenance reports and documentation.
- Uphold safe working conditions and adhere to occupational health and safety regulations.
- Possess a 310-T Technician license.
- Have 3+ years of experience in the Medium/Heavy Duty truck or automotive industry.
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of product and technical knowledge.
- Be a team player with a strong commitment to vehicle safety.
- Be self-motivated with good written and verbal communication skills.
- Handle large volumes of work and stressful situations.
