Microtel’s rapid growth is backed by the strength of MasterBUILT® Hotels’ commitment to develop at least 75 Microtel hotels by 2036, making it one of the most dynamic new brands to ever enter the Canadian marketplace.New Opportunity:BREAKFAST ASSOCIATEMicrotel Inn & Suites Keeshkeemaquah, MBReporting to the Rooms Division Manager or their designate, the Breakfast Associate will be responsible for maintaining the breakfast area to ensure guest comfort and enjoyment, as well as 100% Guest Satisfaction guarantees, quality assurance standards and guest security and safety.This is a part-time position that requires availability to work early mornings and weekends.RESPONSIBILITIES:Meet and greet guestsEnsure the breakfast area is free of debris, and all equipment is in working orderMaintain the satisfaction of all guestsEnforce safety and security procedures of the hotel by key control, reporting suspicious activity or persons, and locking all storage areasWrite maintenance notices for all equipment in need of attention, repair or replacementDisplay all food items in accordance to brand standards and in a manner that will ensure guest satisfactionPromote guest loyalty through actions, speech and mannerismsProvide or locates the answer to all guest inquiriesFollow all vendor and supplier recommendations, and local codes, concerning food safety and handlingPresent her or himself in a professional mannerAssist with or manage ordering of supplies necessary for the efficient running of the breakfast barReport suspicious activity by guests or others and observes all security and safety measuresOther relevant duties as requiredQUALIFICATIONS:Experience Required1-2 years of experience in a customer service-oriented rolePrevious host/hostess experience an assetMission Critical CompetenciesAbility to demonstrate being a team playerExcellent customer service and interpersonal skillsA fun, positive attitude with a sense of humourCommitted to realizing all our Core Pillars (core values)Desired EducationA High School Diploma or GED requiredWORKING CONDITIONS:Fun working environment, committed to realizing our Core PillarsMay be required to lift items up to 30 lbs.TO APPLY:To apply send all resumes to We thank all applicants for their submissions, but only those deemed qualified by our hiring manager will be contacted.
