We take great pride in protecting the lives and assets of our customers and their communities with the solutions we provide.*What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”** Proactively source applicants (active and passive) to fill open requisitions using a variety of tools and processes.* Responsible for collaborating with business leaders to ensure efficient and effective recruiting methods and strategies are developed based on the needs of the business.* Assists in the job posting and advertisement process.* Screening applicants and shortlisting qualified candidates.* Scheduling of interviews; oversees preparation of interview questions and other hiring and selection materials.* Report the progress on job vacancies on a regular basis, communicate with management team and provide regular feedback about the performance of the recruitment process.* Build strong relationships with the Human Resources Business Partners and hiring managers to ensure process and procedures are being followed.* Assists in interview process, attending and conducting interviews with business leaders and other stakeholders.* Collaborates with hiring managers during the offer letter process, identifying and recommending salary ranges, incentives, start dates and other details.* Communicate with, and train managers on talent acquisition best practices, interview guides and legislative requirements.* Ensure compliance with provincial and federal laws and regulations relating to employment standards, human rights, privacy legislation and employment equity.* Work independently on special Talent Acquisition projects as assigned by TA Manager and/or business leaders.*What You’ll Need** High level of organization and time management skills.* Excellent computer skills required (Outlook, MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint).* Must have high level of discretion and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information appropriately.* Ability to consistently deliver high levels of service to hiring managers and candidates.* Strong attention to detail.* Excellent interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently, multi-task and prioritize in a very fast-paced environment.* Strong proficiency working with data analytics & reporting* Proficiency in social media, with a strong command of platforms such as LinkedIn & Indeed.*Requirements:** Diploma and/or certificate in related discipline is required, or related experience.* At least 2 years of previous experience as a dedicated recruiter is required.* Certifications: Registered Professional Recruiter (RPR) certification is considered an asset*Company Benefits and Perks*Convergint fosters a supportive, accessible, and inclusive environment in which individuals of different backgrounds and identities are able to realize their maximum potential within the company.
