Our valued client, a large Oil & Gas company are seeking an Instrumentation Specialist for a six-month contract role. This is a fly in/fly out role based in Fort McMurray, Alberta. Chartered flights are from Calgary or Edmonton where camp is provided by the client. Rotation for this for this role is a 4x3 (Mon-Thu) rotation. Support Preventive Maintenance (PM) optimization activities at the clients site. Optimize RCM PM frequencies based on past history of CM work orders for associated assets, vendor recommendations, operating conditions etc.Expected background10 years’ experience as instrumentation technologist or higher in oil and gas, Utilities or other heavy industries with hands on troubleshooting and reliability improvement experience. Thorough knowledge of field instrumentation installation and reliability aspects. Previous experience with instrumentation reliability improvement efforts, Instrumentation PM plans implementation. Ability to work at remote work site with field visits.
