Reports To: Inventory Manager

Responsible for the development and implementation of scheduled and demand cycle counts in the warehouses, auditing of various documents, transactions and procedures as they relate to the inventory department. Supervise direct reports who perform daily cycle counts and reconciliation of cycle counts.
Audit of inventory records accuracy through scheduled and on demand cycle counts, including review of current cycle count system and development of any changes required to that system.
Communicate with management related to cycle count differences, internal control problems, and inventory control issues found during cycle counts or audits.
Reconcile warehouse inventory monthly.
Ensures inventory scrapping and write-off procedures are followed.
Responsible for reviewing, testing and implementing cycle count modules.
Research inventory discrepancies and submit accurate inventory and bin location reports.
Assist in determining root causes on inventory discrepancies and help implement corrective actions to eliminate repetitive errors.
Use wireless RF scanning equipment to ensure accuracy of inventory
Assist in updating dims and weights for all materials in database.
Be able to carefully and safely drive material handling equipment and other warehouse equipment.
Post-Secondary Education, preferably in Logistics or similar field
Minimum 5+ years inventory cycle count/inventory control experience in a 3PL environment
Thorough understanding of cycle count procedures and inventory control principles
Working knowledge of inventory programs and MS Office
2+ years' experience operating Forklifts with a valid license
Knowledge of the Freight Forwarding industry considered an asset
Exposure to ISO procedures considered an asset
Solid understanding of mathematic basics with the ability to problem-solve
Leadership: Proven abilities in providing guidance and support to ensure performance measures are consistently being achieved
Technical: Highly proficient using inventory software's and warehouse management systems
