This is an in-office position based in our St. John’s, Newfoundland office.
Locally, Vish helps salons eliminate waste, manage inventory, increase revenue, and gain deep insights into their color business. Globally, Vish is building the infrastructure to revolutionize supply chain management across the entire hair color industry.
Reporting to the Chief of Staff, the HR Manager will play a pivotal role in shaping Vish’s growth by attracting top talent worldwide and building the HR systems, policies, and programs that support a high-performing, people-first culture.
Lead full-cycle global recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring across multiple time zones and teams.
Partner with leadership to forecast hiring needs and build scalable talent pipelines.
Select, implement, and optimize recruitment and HR technologies (for example, ATS, onboarding tools).
HR Policy, Systems and Procedures
Build, implement, and continuously improve global HR policies, processes, and employee handbooks.
Lead system selection and implementation for key HR programs, such as performance management, engagement, and learning tools.
Manage performance management cycles, supporting managers with tools, coaching, and frameworks.
Support professional development initiatives and employee engagement programs.
Manage benefits and Employee Assistance Program administration.
Maintain accurate employee records, documentation, and HR data systems.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
~5+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a fast-paced tech or global environment.
~ Strong understanding of HR best practices, employment law, and compliance.
~ HR certifications (SHRM-CP, PHR, CHRP) are an asset.
Highly technical and comfortable navigating new tools and systems.
