What You'll Be Doing:Managing the Employee Labour Relations strategy while enabling and maintaining positive relationships within a unionized environmentReviewing and implementing changes to HR policies, procedures and practices while ensure compliance is followedDriving effective recruitment and onboarding practices to engage and retain talentManaging and evaluating the Total Rewards program to ensure cost-effectiveness and competitiveness. Participate in annual review, preparation and implementation of the organization's wage and salary programsKeeping up to date on industry trends, best practices and legislation, while reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory complianceManaging training and development programs for employeesOverseeing the company's Heath and Safety program and the functioning of the Joint Health and Safety CommitteeDeveloping and maintaining the company's Human Resource Information SystemOther duties as assigned What You'll Need to Be Successful:6+ years of experience in a manufacturing industry (Food & Beverage preferred)Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources or a related disciplineProfessional HR Certification is an asset (i.e., CHRP/CHRL)3+ years of experience working in a unionized environmentStrong communication, problem solving and conflict resolution skillsExperience in Workforce Planning, Talent Management, Compensation, benefits, HRIS, Health & Safety and Labour Relations
