As a Top 100 GTA Employer eight years running, HIROC employees are empowered to find solutions and create amazing experiences in service to its Subscribers.Join us and be part of the team working to make a difference.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Accounting and Financial Analysis• Month-end and quarter-end general journal entries• Variance analysis• Prepare and review account reconciliations• Accounting for investment transactions• Assist with preparation of financial statements and commentaries• Assist with annual audit• Assist with budget preparation• Ad-hoc financial analysisAccounts Payable/Accounts Receivable• End-to-end Accounts Payable processing and reconciliations for multiple entities• Employee expense report processing• Communicate with vendors and departments to troubleshoot, manage and resolve issues• Accounts Receivable - invoicing and collections• Cash receipts processing• Processing of interface files between systemsCash Management & Banking Reconciliations• Prepare/review monthly bank reconciliations• Assist in cash flow monitoring and projections• Entry of bank transactionsOther Finance Duties• Provide back-up where necessary in the Finance department• Preparation of indirect sales tax returns and tax payments• Updating Finance policies and procedures• Other duties as assignedEDUCATION, TRAINING & EXPERIENCE:• University degree• Accounting systems (Dynamics GP or Business Central preferred), Strong Excel skills• 5 years of relevant work experience• Working towards completing the CPAHours of Work:Monday – Friday 8:30am – 4:30pm Hybrid work modelTO APPLY: Please submit your résumé to HR@hiroc.comIn order to be considered for this position, please include a current résumé or detailed qualifications summary with your application.
