49th Parallel Roastery is a company that focuses on producing creative assets for customer acquisition, retention, and brand building campaigns. We work with eCommerce and Marketing team members to deliver a wide variety of graphic design content.

Please note that this is a part-time (25 hrs/wk) 9 month fixed term opportunity.
The Graphic Designer for 49th Parallel supports the production of creative assets used for customer acquisition, retention, and brand building campaigns. This position is focused on delivering a wide variety of graphic design content such as customer emails, site banners, product packaging, wholesale flyer, paid social ads, and more. Design Creation:
Assist in creating visually appealing designs for packaging, labels, emails, merchandise, marketing materials, and other branded assets to support the business (49th Parallel coffee and Lucky's Doughnuts)
Collaborate with cross functional teams to conceptualize and execute design projects that align with the brand's identity and target audience.
Apply design principles, such as color theory, typography, and composition, to create aesthetically pleasing and cohesive visuals.
Digital Design:
Assist in creating digital designs for website elements, social media graphics, online advertisements, email templates, and other digital marketing assets.
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure visual consistency across various digital platforms.
Optimize designs for responsive web and mobile experiences.
Packaging and Print Design:
Create packaging designs for 49th and Lucky's Doughnuts and align with brand standards.
Design Production and Collaboration:
Prepare design files for production, ensuring accuracy and compatibility with printing and manufacturing processes.
Collaborate with printers, manufacturers, and external vendors to ensure high-quality production of designs.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, content, and production teams.
Creative Problem Solving:
Assist in finding creative solutions to design challenges, effectively communicating brand messages through visual elements.
Adapt designs based on feedback and incorporate revisions while maintaining the integrity of the brand identity.
