We believe in the unlimited potential of entrepreneurship and help our Members (clients) break through barriers and take their businesses to the next level.Our proprietary training program brings systemization to a company’s operations, develops an entrepreneur’s core business skills, and holds accountability to goals along with a clear business plan.Breakthrough Academy is now nine years old and continuing to grow rapidly, with over 900 business owners developing in the program and an awesome team of 50 running the show.We’ve built a great team over the past few years, and are at a stage where we’re assembling a solid Human Resources Department. virtual team gatherings are the highlight of your dayYou consider yourself an agile manager, and continuous growth is more important to you than pure perfectionIN THE ROLE, YOU WILL BE: Managing employee relations and engaging with the management team on important topicsCreating an internal employee communication strategy for company news and updatesCollaborating with managers to ensure employees have the tools and support they need to thriveHandling end-to-end onboarding, including impactful, engaging in-person sessions in VancouverConducting an annual employee engagement surveyManaging and communicating the employee benefits programs, such as group health plans, RRSP matching, and facilitating enrollmentImplementing monetary and non-monetary reward and recognition programsIdentifying and assessing training needs and developing workshops, online courses, and on-the-job training programsIdentifying skill-building opportunities and creating individualized development plans and career paths to support employee growthImplementing performance management systems and designing evaluation criteria to link compensation to performance, ensuring fairness, transparency, and alignment with organizational objectivesTraining managers and employees on constructive and developmental feedback, promoting a high-performance culture of continuous improvementIdentifying high-potential employees, creating development plans to track progress, and providing mentoring and coachingFostering an inclusive environment and ensuring an attractive, accessible brandConducting a workforce planning strategy to meet staffing needs and coordinating recruitment efforts with department leadersOverseeing an internal recruitment team of two, and liaising with external agencies as neededManaging the HR budget and forecasting for hiring, salaries, benefits, talent management, training, succession planning, workforce engagement, and employee wellness planningEstablishing and communicating relevant policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with provincial laws and regulationsSourcing HRIS systems and leading the implementation and training for employeesEXPERIENCE REQUIRED3-5 years of progressive experience in a Human Resources leadership roleA Bachelor's degree in Business;
