Description of Services: Botsford is looking to expand its Regulatory Change & Operational Change team. This group partners with multiple Major Canadian Banking clients to support new and ongoing initiatives such as: Mifid IICFTCEMIR RewriteCSAChanges from SECIIROCCDICPayments ModernizationThis would be working with our client groups such as:TransformationSettlements, Clearing, Reconciliation, Product Control, OnboardingOur Botsford Consulting team helps support our clients through the entire lifecycle of the regulation and/or business initiative (impact assessment, requirements creation, technical analysis, testing, etc.)Must Haves:Strong experience in Reg Reporting or Operational functionsCapital Markets Regulatory experience (preferably on CFTC, SBSD, EMIR, HKMA, MAS, or FO Regulations affecting Derivatives products) OR Capital Markets Operations experience including Settlements, Clearing, Reconciliation, Product Control, Client OnboardingBasic UAT testing experience in Capital Markets setting and Business Requirements Documentation experience Good understanding of OTC derivatives products (any asset class is acceptable)Experience with SQLResponsibilitiesHave overall responsibility to plan and manage client engagements, lead the day-to-day operation and execution of services as well as contribute to business development activities byManaging the planning and delivery of multiple client engagements ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery of quality work in line with client expectationsTaking responsibility for large scale transformation projects across front, middle and back office functions Developing trusted client relationships at the Leadership levels, and managing engagement teams of consultants/practitionersIdentifying business development opportunities and contributing to the writing and submission of proposals and bid documentsBeing known as a trusted advisor within Capital Markets, Wealth Management , Risk or related sectors.Motivating your team and creating a culture of inclusion. You will provide day-to-day guidance and actionable coaching to your teamQualifications4+ years of combined Financial Services industry and consulting experience Proven track record of building and growing client relationships at senior levels.Experience across multiple functions in Financial services Ability to manage client projects and associated team membersCore Consulting Skills and competenciesProven track record in supporting practice development, business development and people development.
