Account Executive, CRO ServicesOur client, a Canadian company that specializes in providing solutions for government and healthcare organizations, with expertise in telehealth, healthcare technology, and medical equipment maintenance, is seeking an Account Executive, CRO Services to join their team. The incumbent will focus on the company’s Contract Research Organization (CRO) services.The ideal candidate must be based in the Greater Toronto Area. Key ResponsibilitiesContribute to the development and execution of sales strategies aimed at managing opportunities within the CRO services pipeline across all stages of the cycleMaintains strong customer relationships and understands their current and developing requirementsResponds in timely fashion to customer inquiries and feedback in courteous and professional mannerAbility to identify and qualify new business prospectsMonitors customer satisfaction and project progress according to project commitmentsSupports the maintenance and improvement of gross margin against established targetsSeeks additional revenue opportunities with existing contractsManage Business Development pipeline through all phases of the sales cycleOngoing development and nurturing of relationships with clients and partnersIdentification and cultivation of new partnerships and opportunitiesUnderstands and optimizes effective negotiation skills and strategiesIdentification of cross-selling and upselling opportunities with clientsPromotes the company’s platform and services as a solution to addressing client needsChampions the renewal of existing client contracts and accounts while influencing proposal requirementsReview proposals and attend pricing meetings accordinglyStay current with industry trends and developments through ongoing learning opportunities, internal communications, and self-directed studyQualificationsPost secondary education required5-10 years' experience in sales/business development within healthcareStrong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry, CROs, and healthcareSuccess in prospecting and developing new business relations and increasing revenueExisting contacts and relationships in the Canadian Healthcare ecosystem with essential decision makers of health organizations in the private sectorProficient in in Microsoft Office tools, and diligent with CRM toolsExperience working on sales opportunities at all stages of the sales cycleExperience with pharmaceutical product marketing considered an assetBilingual in English and French an assetExcellent communication skillsSolid financial acumenAn innovative approach to identify new businessExcellent organizational and project management skillsStrong sense of urgency to achieve resultsThank you in advance for your interest, only individuals deemed to have the skill set and experience to fit the role will be contacted.Lock Search Group is a National Executive Recruitment firm with 11 offices in Canada and one in the United States, a staff of more than 30 Consultants and Associates, and expertise in 11 major disciplines.
