This is a Full Time Remote based role within Canada. Job DescriptionAs a Training Specialist, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to PSD Citywide clients, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of our software products. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, in-depth knowledge of software applications, and the ability to facilitate engaging and effective training sessions.Responsibilities & DutiesDevelop and deliver training programs for end-users, administrators, and other stakeholders on our software products.Design and update training materials, including manuals, presentations, and online resources, to ensure relevance and effectiveness.Conduct comprehensive internal training programs for employees on the effective use of our software products.Collaborate with the product development team to stay current on software updates and new features, incorporating this information into training programs.Conduct needs assessments to identify training requirements and customize programs accordingly.Provide one-on-one or group training sessions, either in person or through virtual platforms, to accommodate diverse learning styles and preferences.Evaluate the effectiveness of training sessions through participant feedback and assessment results, making adjustments as needed.Ensure that client facing user guides and internal training materials are up to date.Maintain current knowledge of industry trends and training best practices to continuously improve training programs.Collaborate with the sales and customer support teams to address customer training needs and contribute to customer success.Other duties as assigned. QualificationsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.3-5 years experience as a Software Trainer or similar role.Strong knowledge of the general function of software applications.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information in a clear and understandable manner.Experience with instructional design and adult learning methods.Familiarity with different training methods and techniques, both in-person and virtual.Ability to adapt to different learning styles and effectively engage diverse audiences.Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.Certification in training or instructional design is considered an asset.Experience with e-learning platforms and tools.Experience with modern training tools including video editors, AI training video generation, and learning management systems.Recruitment ProcessAll resumes will be reviewed for experience working with key technologies.
