Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesSupport and drive change initiatives organizationallyTrack and report on key HR metrics, analyse the information to make recommendations for continuous improvement operationally and for our associatesContinue to make us a Great Place to Work, by driving a great associate experience, investigating employee relations issues and providing through and accurate communicationEnsure organizational legislative compliance, through program and policy development, Support effective divisional talent management by advocating for internal promotions and supporting associate growth and development plans.Develop and or ensure implementation and where applicable risk mitigation in relation to effective associate coaching, feedback, recognition, discipline and termination processes.Work in collaboration with local and regional managers on safety activities, including but not limited to: safety committee, safety training, annual training, on-site training and site visits, and recommendations for safe workplace activities and practices.Act as a strategic member of the team aligning operational needs with HR programs and policiesApply tactical experience in supporting the day to day operational requirements.Be a change advocate of technology and or processes that will enhance and improve on business execution Education & ExperienceA minimum of five (5) years generalist experience in a manager or business partner capacityExperience in a fast paced, client service-based businessBachelor’s degree in business, human resources or related discipline, preferred.Human Resources certifications including CHRP (certified through the HRMA) strongly preferred. Knowledge, Skills & ProficienciesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
