About the Job:iVedha is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Writer to join our team and assume a pivotal role in the creation of clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation for railway signaling products and systems, as well as mission-critical facilities such as those in the nuclear and aerospace sectors. In this role, you will be responsible for translating complex technical information into comprehensible instructions, manuals, and other materials tailored for diverse audiences.The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in a technical field, particularly in railway signaling products and systems. Experience in mission-critical facilities, such as those in the nuclear or aerospace sectors, is highly desirable. Additionally, the candidate must possess the ability to evaluate and analyze complex information provided by trainer and other associated internal stakeholder and effectively communicate this information to various audiences, both in writing and orally.Responsibilities:Develop and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, training materials, and online help content.Work closely with subject matter experts (SMEs) such as engineers and developers to understand technical concepts and ensure the accuracy of documentation.Gather and analyze technical specifications, product requirements, and user feedback to inform documentation development.Apply strong research and information gathering skills to learn new technical concepts quickly and efficiently.Write in a clear, concise, and engaging style, tailoring content to the specific needs of the target audience.Adhere to style guides and maintain consistency in formatting and terminology.Utilize content management systems (CMS) and other authoring tools to create and publish documentation.Collaborate with design teams to create user-friendly layouts and visuals for documentation.Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices for technical writing. Qualifications:Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Technical Writer, preferably in the railway signal domain.Proven experience in writing technical documentation for railway signaling products and systems and also any mission-critical facilities (e.g., nuclear, aerospace) is a strong plus. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Experience with content management systems (CMS) and authoring tools is a plus.Knowledge of Single Source Content (SSC) and/or Content Delivery Platforms (CDP) is a plus.
