We are on the hunt for an experienced Sales Manager for a manufacturing client in Edmonton, AB. You will be responsible for driving growth and creating strategic opportunities for the company and is to identify and pursue new business ventures, partnerships, and market opportunities to expand the company's revenue and market presence. This is a full time permanent onsite role. Responsibilities:Develop and maintain relationships with all people involved in the decision processAbility to present proposals and solutions to all levels of staff, including executivesOrganizes face-to-face meetings and conducts sales presentations to introduce our client and its product portfolio, highlighting product differentiationMonitors market conditions and competitor activity in designated territory to support business planningTakes ownership of monthly, quarterly, and annual results for the overall account or growth territoryParticipates in new business and product launch meetings with operations, coordinating with department managers in production planning, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality control.Understands customer business strategies, purchasing behaviors, and organizational structures, including regulatory requirements, threats, economic trends, and competition.Regional travel is requiredQualifications:Post-secondary education with a business/financial degree is preferredMinimum 7 years of proven success in a business development or account management role in an industrial or manufacturing spaceStrong written, oral, and presentation skills are requiredProficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPointExcellent verbal and written communication skillsWhat you will get:Competitive salaryGenerous vacation and benefits planHealth Spending AccountCompany Matching RRSP for up to 3%Yearly bonus We'd like to thank all candidates for their interest.
