Role DescriptionThis is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Mechanical Estimator at E-M Air Systems Inc. located in Concord, ON. The Junior Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and submission of mechanical project estimates, including analyzing project requirements, interpreting blueprints and specifications, conducting material take-offs, obtaining quotes from suppliers, and preparing cost estimates. The Junior Mechanical Estimator will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and vendors, to ensure accurate and timely estimates.QualificationsResent Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or a related fieldStrong mathematical and analytical skillsProficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specificationsKnowledge of mechanical systems and HVAC equipmentExperience with estimating software is an assetStrong attention to detail and accuracyExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office suitePlease note that only candidates who meet the qualifications will be contacted.
