We are currently seeking a **Junior** **Fire Sprinkler Project Estimator **to join the Lifeline team.

**Responsibilities**:

- Develop project bid proposal packages including scope of work, exclusions, proposal pricing, etc.
- Analyze architectural, mechanical, and structural drawings and blue prints.
- Utilize construction software to measure and interpret drawings.
- Provide take-off and cost estimations for projects based on material costs, labour costs, pre-fabrications, etc.
- Identify possible cost-saving opportunities and/or risk items that will occur on various projects.
- Ability to complete field surveys and assessments for fire sprinkler systems.

**Requirements**:

- 2 - 3 years of Fire Protection Engineering Technology program from Seneca.
- 2 years of experience with fire sprinkler systems and new construction and retrofits of multifamily and/or all types of commercial projects.
- Diploma and/or degree in three-year Fire Protection Engineering Technology program.
- 3-5 years of experience working as a Sprinkler Project Estimator is preferred.
- Strong math and analytical skills.
- Requires to understand hydraulic calculations, identify material, equipment, and price related items.
- Solid knowledge of NFPA and relevant local codes.
- Able to read blueprints and have general knowledge of construction processes/terminology. Able to read bid forms, specifications, contracts, purchase orders and general agreements.
- 2 years of hands-on experience with fire sprinkler systems, encompassing both new
- construction and retrofits for multifamily and various commercial projects.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, results-oriented, analytical thinking.
- Familiarity with Canadian construction standards, terms, contracts, and various project delivery methods.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands.
- Ability to work independently and in a team.
- Experience using Bluebeam Construction software is an asset.
- Experience using CAD software is an asset
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google workspace, estimating and takeoff tools. Planswift is preferred.
- Proficiency in English is required.
- Maintain an active pipeline of activity that will ensure success for your sales plan/goals.
- Responsible for making sales calls to current customers to be converting construction installation customers into service customers as well.
- Must possess valid educational proof and pass a background check.

**Salary**: $58,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
