Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Mechanical Estimator at E-M Air Systems Inc. located in Concord, ON. The Junior Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and submission of mechanical project estimates, including analyzing project requirements, interpreting blueprints and specifications, conducting material take-offs, obtaining quotes from suppliers, and preparing cost estimates. The Junior Mechanical Estimator will also collaborate with cross-functional teams, including project managers, engineers, and vendors, to ensure accurate and timely estimates.


Qualifications

  • Resent Diploma or degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications
  • Knowledge of mechanical systems and HVAC equipment
  • Experience with estimating software is an asset
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
