Hays has partnered with a large leading contractor who have offices across Canada. Our client primarily carries out major institutional, industrial and commercial projects across Canada and they are fueled by a deep vision powered by innovation and a very skilled and committed team.
The open role is for an experienced Project Manager to join the team reporting into the Director of Construction. This individual will plan, direct and ensure the implementation of construction projects given to them. They will consult with clients and stakeholders to determine specifics of the project and ensure the quality of execution. They will participate in site meetings of professionals, internal personal and subcontractors and track project costs. They will be responsible for managing change orders and manage contractors activity related to the progress of the work. Finally they will oversee a project coordinator and participate in bidding with the estimation team.

The successful Project Manager candidate will have at least 5 years of managing construction projects (ICI) in Ontario from start to finish. They will have a Bachelors degree or diploma in engineering, architecture or civil and be proficient with MS Software and Procore. The PM candidate will been an excellent communicator and have a high attention to detail including the ability to follow and control budgets and progressive invoicing. LEED accreditation and ability to speak both french and english would be considered an asset.

The successful PM candidate will receive a base salary, bonus, hybrid work environment and full comprehensive benefits.
