Our client, a leader in the Defence and Technology industry, is seeking a Recruiter to join their team in Dartmouth, NS or Ottawa, ON. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience in a dynamic, high-volume recruitment environment and play a key role in supporting hiring initiatives across Canada. 12-month contract with potential for an extension or to go permanent. Benefits & Perks Compensation: $25 to $35/hour 12-month contract with potential for extension Please note, twice a week at the Dartmouth, NS Office or Ottawa, ON. Option to work a fortnight schedule Responsibilities Support full-cycle recruitment for a variety of high-volume roles across Canada Build strong relationships with hiring managers and HR partners to align recruitment efforts with business needs Source candidates through job boards, social media, and proactive outreach Screen and coordinate candidates through all stages of the recruitment process Maintain accurate and organized candidate records in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS) Support university relations, early careers, and other recruitment initiatives as needed Collaborate with the broader Talent Acquisition team across Canada Qualifications 2 to 5 years of recruiting experience, preferably in high-volume or agency recruitment Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills Bilingual (English & French) considered an asset Highly adaptable, proactive, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment Ability to obtain Reliability Clearance (must have 5 years of residency in Canada) At Aplin — together with our brands CompuStaff and Impact Recruitment — we connect great people with great organizations across North America.
