Job Overview

The role of the Marketing Intern is to assist the company in implementing a variety of marketing strategies aimed at enhancing and expanding the company's presence. While our services are valuable, it is vital to create a positive association around the services we offer, and this is where the contribution of the Marketing Intern becomes invaluable. Taking ownership of marketing activities, the Marketing Intern is responsible for managing the company's social media platforms and coordinating marketing initiatives to drive the growth of our business operations.

Key Duties

·       Manage the company's social media platforms, engaging with current followers and attracting a broader online audience.

·       Support the launch and management of the Business-to-Consumer (B2C) division in various digital formats.

·       Propose new ideas to the team about digital promotional markets.

·       Recommend relevant Business-to-Business (B2B) conferences to expand the company's market presence.

·       Take ownership of digital and print media assets to support marketing campaigns.

·       Plan and coordinate marketing campaigns, providing leads to the Principal/Owner, while working towards building a strong brand image.

·       Participate in content creation for the company's social media accounts; Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.

·       Responsible for developing marketing and promotional communications for upcoming events.

·       Aid proposal preparation and prospective client engagement to generate business leads.

·       Participate in marketing brainstorming sessions to contribute fresh ideas and strategies.

·       Report the outcomes of marketing tasks to Owner/Principal.

·       Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the company.


Qualifications

·       Marketing or business-related degree/diploma.

·       Some prior marketing experience.

·       A solid understanding of marketing principles.

·       Experience or knowledge in Business to Business (B2B) sales.

·       Familiarity with social media and digital marketing.

·       Strong English communication and interpersonal skills.

·       Problem-solving abilities with a creative mindset.

·       Ownership mindset.

·       Knowledge with Google Suite application, including but not limited to Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides.

·       Knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

·       Familiarity with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, etc.)

·       Proficiency in graphic design tools such as Canva.


Tools

·      Company provided computer and hardware (keyboard & mouse). 

·      Access to relevant software for daily tasks and social media management (Google suits, Canva). 

·      Access to Company social media sites for and platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn & Facebook)


Work environment

Unlimited HRM Solutions Inc. is currently located in King City, Canada. The role is structured as a in person model, with five days in the office. Emphasis is placed on in person interaction as this promotes a more collaborative and team-oriented environment.

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9 am – 3:30 pm (30 - 35 hours per week) in office.
