We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Occupational Therapist Consultant to join our dynamic team. As an Occupational Therapist Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality therapeutic services to our diverse clientele. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to the well-being of our community while enjoying the flexibility of a contract position.

 

Responsibilities:

·        Accept referrals and review pertinent documentation

·        Conduct assessments to evaluate patients’ physical and functional capabilities.

·        Implement interventions to improve clint’s abilities to perform daily activities, enhance quality of life and maximize independence

·        Actioning and prioritizing daily tasks such as emails, telephone calls, assessments, reports within pre-determined timelines

·        Develop strong relationships and collaborate with essential parties including

o   Client/customer

o   Employer

o   Medical care provider

o   Internal and external partners

·        Complete comprehensive assessments and reports including

o   Initial Assessments

o   Progress Updates

o   Return to/Stay at work plans

·        File Management of simple to complex claims including

 

Qualifications:

·        Proven experience as an Occupational Therapist.

·        Strong organizational and time-management skills

·        Excellent written and spoken communication

·        Demonstrated resiliency, empathy and compassion with customers while maintaining sponsor expectations.

·        Reliable high-speed internet

·        Ability to work across time zones

·        Excellent written and verbal communication

·        Strong ethical standards & professional integrity

·        Above average organizational skills

·        Ability to participate in remote team environments

·        Maintain a safe and secure home-based office
