Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will provide on-going analytical, Big Data, Machine Learning, and ETL supports to meet the project needs.

  • Design, develop, document, and implement the components required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
  • Work with stakeholders to assist with data-related technical issues and support their data engineering needs.
  • Create data tools for analytics and performance measurement as required.
  • Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency, and workload management.


Qualifications

  • Design cloud data solutions (architecture, infrastructure, ETL/ELT, storage, data model, consumption).
  • Strong Python skills, including experience with large language models (GPT-4, etc.).
  • Experience with unstructured data and cloud-native warehousing (Snowflake, Databricks).
  • AI platform experience (MLFlow, PyTorch, TensorFlow, Scikit-learn).
  • Strong data modeling (relational, dimensional, canonical) and supply chain DataMart/Datawarehouse experience.
  • Support data architecture and database schemas (SQL, NoSQL) for scalable algorithms.
  • Adopt best practices in data retention and security.
  • Mentor junior team members.
  • Experience with version control for databases and data analytics tools (PowerBI).
  • Experience in Azure/AWS cloud; domain knowledge in retail is a plus.
