I am currently recruiting on behalf of a leading global EdTech organization that operates four well-established education brands across 30+ countries. Their Richmond Hill office is home to a collaborative and innovative team passionate about education, data-driven strategy, and franchise success.This organization is experiencing strong growth and is seeking a Senior Analyst, Business Insights to join their Marketing team. This is a key role that transforms complex data into actionable insights—driving smarter decisions across the business.Position OverviewReporting to the VP of Marketing & Sales, the Senior Analyst, Business Insights will lead advanced data analysis, business intelligence reporting, forecasting, and cross-functional insights. You will also support strategic planning and help identify opportunities to improve performance, efficiency, and decision-making.📍 Richmond Hill, ON | Hybrid (2 days in office) | Occasional TravelWhat You’ll DoData Analysis & InterpretationCollect, clean, and analyze large, multi-source datasets.Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies using statistical methods.Ensure data integrity and accuracy across all reporting.Business Intelligence & ReportingDevelop and maintain dashboards, scorecards, and visual reports (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).Automate recurring reporting to streamline workflows.Present insights clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Strategic Insights & Decision SupportTranslate analytical findings into clear strategic recommendations.Support budgeting, forecasting, and performance measurement.Conduct competitive and market analysis.Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Leadership.Support ad-hoc data requests and urgent business questions.Communicate insights in simple, actionable terms.Advanced AnalyticsBuild predictive models and perform scenario planning.Identify operational improvements through data.Use analytics tools to solve real business challenges.Data Governance & Quality AssuranceMaintain accurate documentation, definitions, and methodologies.Ensure consistency and compliance across all data outputs.Continuous ImprovementStay current with analytics tools and industry best practices.Recommend and implement automation enhancements.QualificationsEducationBachelor's or Master’s in Business Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Economics, or related field.Experience3–5+ years in data analytics or business intelligence.Experience collaborating cross-functionally in fast-paced environments.Technical SkillsProficiency in SQL and advanced Excel.Expertise with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Qlik).Strong understanding of statistical analysis and predictive modelling.Python or R is an asset.Soft SkillsExcellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.Strong communication and storytelling skills.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.High attention to detail and intellectual curiosity.Key Performance MetricsTimeliness and accuracy of dashboards and reports.Impact of insights on business strategy and outcomes.Stakeholder satisfaction and collaboration efficiency.Process automation and workflow improvements.Interested in Applying?If you’re excited about joining a purpose-driven EdTech organization and contributing to smarter, data-driven decisions, I’d love to connect.
