We are currently seeking a candidate with drive and passion to join our team as Order Management Specialist in our Canadian office.


About This Opportunity


The Order Management Specialist will advance existing process through continuous improvement, implement, and maintain customer requirements, and reduce vendor related infractions. This position’s core responsibilities are to manage accounts and order to cash transaction while adhering to policies and procedures set by both the enterprise and the customer. These core responsibilities will be converted to metrics and reported to the order management and customer service manager.


Job Responsibilities:

  • Manage order allocation and release for US and Canada customers
  • Order entry into Oracle, maintenance, and monitoring for assigned account executive and proper communication of order status
  • Review released customer orders on a weekly basis to ensure timely shipments
  • Review customer orders against available inventory and oversees order release to maximize fill rates.
  • Correspond with customers in a highly formal and professional manner
  • Inventory moves and tracking
  • Ensure front end compliance of customer terms and conditions through continuous monitoring of web portals and routing guides
  • Investigate, coordinate and resolve front end compliance issues, by working cross functionally with Order Management, Sales, and the 3PL
  • Provide direction on order requirements to ensure on time delivery
  • Participate on cross functionally teams to drive process improvement
  • Review customer scorecards to ensure vendor excellences
  • Ecommerce monitoring to ensure orders are shipped within warehouse SLA and confirm shipment to customer
  • Communication with sales team regarding potential new customer’s inquiries
  • Tracking inbound needed for special product launches
  • Assistance in EDI process
  • Customer profile maintenance
  • Return processing


Requirements:

  • High School diploma or equivalent work experience
  • Some higher education, desirable
  • 3-5 years of experience in distribution and customer relations
  • Experience providing customer service to both internal and external partners
  • Strong verbal and written communication and organizational skills
