Production Planner

We are seeking an experienced Production Planner to oversee production schedules and optimize supply chain operations for our client. Based in Vancouver, this role ensures smooth coordination of production, inventory management, and shipping to meet customer demands efficiently and cost-effectively. Key responsibilities include generating production plans, monitoring inventory levels, addressing supply chain issues, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to support seasonal demand spikes and long-term planning.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage rolling 12-month production plans.
- Coordinate production workflows and prioritize operations for efficiency.
- Analyze inventory levels and manage inter-regional supply transfers.
- Optimize storage capacities and implement seasonal inventory buildup plans.
- Facilitate alignment meetings with sales, customer service, and operations teams.
- Support S&OP processes and identify potential supply risks.
- Utilize ERP systems to model production scenarios and update plans.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum 3 years in supply chain planning, with strong knowledge of production planning and inventory management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, SAP) and advanced Excel skills.
- Strong interpersonal, leadership, and project management abilities.
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with excellent organizational skills.
