Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the prequalification and selection of bidders
- Prepare and issue Request for Proposal (RFP) documents, including commercial and technical content
- Conduct bid openings, manage bid clarification meetings, and ensure integrity throughout the bid process
- Coordinate technical and commercial evaluations, negotiate terms, and manage recommendations for award
- Oversee subcontract management, including changes related to cost and schedule, and monitor supplier progress
- Approve milestone payments and administer supplier claims, ensuring timely and accurate contract compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Science, Finance, or Law preferred
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in procurement or contract administration, preferably in the shipbuilding industry
- Professional certification (e.g., PMAC, SCMP, P.Log., CPIM) is desirable
- Proven track record in managing multi-million-dollar subcontracts with complex requirements
- Strong negotiation, decision-making, and administrative skills for effective contract management
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, with a collaborative and customer-focused approach
Pay Rate: $41-$47.00/hour
