Description: 

Our Calgary based management team is looking for contract Junior Wellsite Geologists & Coring Specialists (Canada) to support its growing client base that is operating in the WCSB. This role is an entry level opportunity with training provided. 


Key Responsibilities and Requirements: 

 

  • Develop and strengthen skills in stratigraphy, petrophysical log interpretation, facies analysis, geological data acquisition & analysis, sampling techniques, geological software, and drilling operations 
  • Hands-on field experience with the drilling of Oil Sands core by working with the Drilling & Geoscience departments to delineate and characterize the deposits 
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Geology 
  • A class 5 driver’s license and a reliable 4x4 vehicle 
  • Highly motivated, team-player with exceptional communication skills 

 

RPS offers steady rotations on long term projects with guaranteed payment within 30 days of invoice. 

 

This is a contract and day rate position. Applicants must be located and legally authorized to work in Canada.
