Position Summary
As an HR Generalist, you will play a pivotal role in managing a broad spectrum of human resources functions. Your responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with labour laws, overseeing the recruitment process, managing employee relations, and administering employee benefits programs.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
• Act as the point of contact for HR-related inquiries and concerns.
• Collaborate with other departments such as Health & Safety and Payroll.
• Assist and coordinate the implementation of trainings for learning and development initiatives personalized to the region’s needs.
• Coordinate and administer wellness & benefits programs.
• Oversee the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and conducting interviews.
• Assist Managers with employee relations, conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
• Assist in the implementation and interpretation of HR policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in human resources or in a related field with work experience.
• Bilingualism (French/English).
• Experience in HR roles, with a focus on HR generalist functions will be considered a strong asset.
• Knowledge of Quebec, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia labor laws.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Travel Requirement: Approximately 5-10% of the year.

Résumé du poste
En tant que généraliste en ressources humaines, vous jouerez un rôle central dans la gestion d'un large éventail de fonctions de ressources humaines. Vos responsabilités consisteront notamment à assurer le respect des lois du travail, à superviser le processus de recrutement, à gérer les relations avec les employés et à administrer les programmes d'avantages sociaux des employés.
Responsabilités et tâches principales
• Agir à titre de point de contact pour les demandes de renseignements et les préoccupations liées aux ressources humaines.
• Collaborer avec d'autres départements tels que la santé et sécurité ainsi que le service de la paie.
• Aider et coordonner la mise en oeuvre de formations pour des initiatives d'apprentissage et de développement personnalisées selon les besoins de la région.
• Coordonner et administrer les programmes de bien-être et d’avantages sociaux.
• Superviser le processus de recrutement, y compris les offres d'emploi, la sélection des curriculums vitae et le code de conduite des entrevues.
• Assister les gestionnaires à gérer les relations avec les employés, la résolution des conflits et les mesures disciplinaires.
• Aider à la mise en oeuvre et à l’interprétation des politiques et procédures RH.
Qualifications requises
• Baccalauréat en ressources humaines ou dans un domaine connexe avec expérience de travail.
• Bilinguisme (français/anglais).
• Une expérience dans des rôles RH, avec un accent sur les fonctions généralistes RH, sera considérée comme un atout majeur.
• Connaissance des lois du travail du Québec, du Nouveau- Brunswick et de la Nouvelle-Écosse.
• Excellentes compétences en communication et relation interpersonnelles.
Exigences de déplacement : environ 5 à 10 % de l'année.
