Position: Solution Architect
Location: Toronto ON (Hybrid)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Solutions Architect to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing high-level architecture and devising solutions that align with business goals. This role requires a deep understanding of the entire technology landscape, excellent communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with client lead architects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and document high-level architecture solutions, ensuring they meet both current and future business requirements.
- Design and implement solutions that transition from monolithic to microservices architectures, leveraging Java and AWS.
- Work closely with existing lead architects from the client's team to understand their current systems and future needs.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring the solutions are robust, scalable, and secure.
- Effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to continuously improve the architecture and solutions provided.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
- Minimum of 15 years of experience in a solutions architect or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Java and microservices architecture.
- Extensive experience with AWS services and infrastructure.
- Proven track record of migrating applications from monolithic to microservices architecture.
- Experience in putting together high-level architecture plans and solution designs.
- Ability to see the big picture and understand the entire technology landscape.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate technical solutions to a diverse audience.
- Experience working collaboratively with client teams, particularly lead architects.
