Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Applications Architect to join our team in Toronto, ON. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in decomposing and composing requirements to develop solution options using a composable and modular architecture approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess and analyze business strategy, business requirements, current state environment, and technology choices to evaluate solution alternatives.
  • Conduct cost and benefit analyses and feasibility studies, create briefing notes, and provide recommendations.
  • Provide expertise and leadership in IT architecture in various domains, including business, technology, applications, security, and information.
  • Create architecture for various solutions across the Land and Resources Sector, ensuring alignment with LRC Technology Roadmap Practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry standards and new trends, including cloud computing, microservices architecture, low code/no code, cybersecurity, and emerging technology.
Requirements:
  • Experience in decomposing and composing requirements to develop solution options using a composable and modular architecture approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Knowledge of industry standards and new trends.
